The greatest thing in the world is to do someone else a kindness
Your place to
make a difference.
Discovering that you have something to give, that someone needs you and that you can do something for another person is one of the best feelings there is. There is nothing like being the right person at the right time. It gives us meaning, belonging and a sense of fulfillment.
But how do you find your place to make a difference? There are plenty of questions and obstacles along the way: What do I have to offer? Where am I needed? How do I fit it into an already busy life?
That is where I come in: to work out, together, how to turn the wish to contribute into action that brings meaning and belonging. I’m Maayan, a social activist, a reservist and a mother. I’m here to help you find your place to make a difference.

These sessions are for people who want to do something for others but find it hard to know where to begin or how to move forward.
What will we do together?
We’ll explore what you have to offer, what matters to you and what is holding you back. We’ll look at how your experience, skills and hopes could meet someone else’s need.
What will you take away?
A clearer direction and a practical plan that fits your time, energy and life.
Questions about 1:1 consulting
How do the sessions work?
Can I come without an idea or previous experience?
What if I’m already involved and want to move forward?
How can I fit this into everyday life?
Talks & workshops

Personal stories and real-life questions about wanting to contribute, the obstacles along the way and what we can do with what we already have.
The session invites you to take a fresh look at what you have to offer, see where you can make a difference and find the energy and courage to act.
Taking action for othersThe courage to reach out
The courage to reach out
We see someone who needs help or think of something worth doing, and then we hesitate. Perhaps it isn’t our role. Perhaps we don’t have enough time. Perhaps someone else is already taking care of it. Through stories from my own work, we’ll talk about that hesitation and what helps us move past it. You’ll leave with ideas for recognizing what you have to offer and where you are needed, and more courage to take a first step toward action that brings belonging, meaning and energy to keep going.

From posts to projects
How does a social media post turn into something that happens in the real world? Through stories from my own work, we’ll explore writing that connects a need with a response, bringing people and resources together, and how social media can lead to action for others.

Initiative. Showing up. Heart.
Three ways of taking action, inspired by women in Jewish texts. Through learning, conversation and writing, we’ll explore different ways of responding, what these women can teach us and how their stories connect with our choices and actions today.

A tailored session
What is on the minds of your community, team or organization? Together, we’ll choose a topic and shape a talk or workshop around your audience and its needs: meaning, belonging, initiative, burnout or finding the motivation to act. We begin with the questions you want to bring to the conversation.

- 2 hours per session
- Up to 10 women
It can be easier together: sharing ideas, getting feedback from peers and being part of a group.
We’ll explore what matters to each participant, what she has to offer and where she wants to contribute in a way that brings belonging and meaning.
We’ll work with real situations and questions brought by participants. Through shared experience and questions, each woman will clarify her direction and plan steps that fit her life.

Nice to meet you
I’m Maayan Rabinovich, a social activist and community leader based in Tel Aviv, with a background in education. Through years of leading a community and working with Olim, I have focused on building belonging, connecting people and managing projects that help people take an active part in Israeli society.
Through writing and initiative, I bring people together to act. I bring this experience to my individual consulting, talks and workshops.
I’m a mother of five daughters, married to Elishav and an IDF reservist. I believe we can make things better.
Belonging is one of the central sources of meaning in our lives. Knowing that we are part of something larger than ourselves gives us a reason to get up, take responsibility and act for others.

After the session
Maayan gave me the space to reach my own understanding of what I want to do with my ideas.
I came to Maayan feeling very confused, and she helped me find clarity about the contribution I can make to the world, with the belief that this is also what gives me strength. Wonderful Maayan thought aloud with me and held up a clear mirror to both my abilities and the distracting voices that leave me confused. The conversation with Maayan and her good eye gave me a great deal of strength to return to action. Thank you so much ❤️
Maayan's lecture was deeply meaningful. She gives women the ability to influence the whole country, straight from home, and encourages them to speak up and act from where they are.
At the Rosha principals' conference, Maayan brought a breath of fresh air: the network as an engine for far-reaching, impactful social action. Fascinating, inspiring, and motivating.
I wanted to tell you that on Friday evening I brought cakes to two bereaved families. I felt a little embarrassed, but I told myself that if you can do it, so can I 😊 So thank you!
I wanted to thank you for the inspiration and the encouragement that helped me personally. I’m already involved in a few small projects that I hope really let me give a little more of myself to others.
